AIG to CPs: Re-strategize security operations
RMTimesNG—Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 10 Headquarters Sokoto, AIG Ali Aji Janga has underscored re-strategizing security operations within the Zone.
If our security strategies are not working as envisioned, then there is a strong need to re-evaluate them and re-strategize, he asserted.
The AIG stressed this at a meeting with the three Commissioners of Police in the Zone, CP Adeleke Adeyinka of Kebbi State, CP Abutu Yaro of Zamfara and CP kola Kamaldeen of Sokoto State.
He urged the Police Commissioners to supervise effectively their Field Operatives and give them the desired motivation against crime in the Zone.
Janga noted it would yield more outstanding performances in the fight against crime in the Zone.
The CPs expressed commitment to surmounting all security challenges peculiar to the zone.
They assured of full implementation of the AIG’s recommendations.
In another development, the AIG has said they would sustain and enhance existing collaboration between Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The Zonal Commanding Officer, FRSC Zone RS. 10 Headquarters Sokoto, Asst. Corps Marshal Mohammed A. Hussain solicited full cooperation of the AIG in the discharge of his duties.
